I need advice about in my T3 range in the results from Medichecks.

Hi

I need advice about the T3 range in the results, listed below, from Medichecks over the past 3 years.

I finally got my GP to refer me to a endo in spring this year.

He increased my levothyroxine dose from 75mg to 100 mg after the visit.

Felt better after the increased dose for about a week then back to normal.

Symptoms of brain fog, fatigue, tendency to dose off easily.

Would I benefit from additional T3 medication?

After reading this site over the past two years, I sense I will be bashing my head against a brick wall if I attempt to go down the NHS route.

What would you advise me to do from your pervious experiences?

Private GP? Private Eno? I am open to all suggestions.

Your Tsh is still too high to look at conversion issues and consider T3. You have room to increase your levo. Once your TSH is down around 1 or lower then I would look at Ft4 and Ft3 and ask about any conversion issues.

Being gluten free may also help.

Vitamins also need to be at optimal levels for things to work well so you need to have recent tests for ferritin, folate, vitamin D and B12.

Actually, you don't have room to increase your levo. If your FT4 goes any higher, your conversion could get worse. And, it's already pretty bad. Your TSH is probably high because of your very low FT3. So, yes, you would do better reducing your levo and adding in some T3. But, I can't suggest how you should get it.
