I’ve been adding 5 of lio to my 75 levo for several months but this has not raised my t3 nor lowered my cholesterol - which is 8. I find it impossible to take more t3 as I get head and ear pressure. Is it worth trying NDT? Or just lio t3? Or do I just try harder? Spread tiny amounts across the day?
I can live with my hypo symptoms - hips and leg pain - but I am concerned about the cholesterol really ,
Ideas and experiences of others appreciated.
I’ve just lost my nice Endo too .

Wow! My doctor tried to put me on statins a few years ago, I refused, as I'd researched. I hadn't seen your article though, Greygoose - great to have even more confirmation, thanks so much!
My tsh in nhs test is 0.77 and in medichecks doneat same time is 1.17 - so ok. Ft4 had gone down from 19 to 15 over the months on t3 but that was to be expected I think. (Ranges usual ones). I am a bit on low side folate so am supplementing.
I tried I tried splitting my doses and now take some early morning some late afternoon to smooth it out and it helped with the side effects of too much at once then withdrawal. Obvs your body needs to get used to this so give it a go for a while and see if it ends up working for you before giving up. Good luck!
