NDT & levo

Hi. I've just got my latest results back & my TSH is 1.2, which is great & my T3 levels are good. However, my T3 is low at 8.2. I'm currently on thiroyd NDT 3¼ grains. I'm concerned that upping by half a tablet will be too much T3, but ok on the T4. Is it possible to mix NDT & levithyroxine. I was thinking of adding 25mg of levo to my NDT, as levo is T4 only. Just wondering if anyone else does this, or another solution. Thanks.

I think there's an error there. Which is good and which is low? And can we have the reference ranges so we can see where within/outside the range the result is. Are these Free or Total T3/T4?

Yes you can mix NDT and Levo which may help find the right balance of T4 and T3. Sometimes Levo plus synthetic T3 gives better results as there's more flexibility to find the right balance of each hormone.

Hi. The T3 is good, but the T4 needs to be above 12.

Hello, how are you? How do you feel about ndt +25mg of levo. I'm interested to know bcs I'm in the same situation.
