Update... I’ve self sourced t3 and currently taking it, I’m finally starting to feel better 😊
This was after my new GP decided to go against my CF borderline diagnosis and claimed I was full on suffering from CF, the thyroid theory was a red herring in his opinion. Therefore, his advice was the following, I should stop eating carbs, no sugar, no fructan, no dairy, GF, fast for 3 days a month, be happy, don’t stress and do yoga every day. That cures CF! He also doesn’t recognise medicheck bloods. My Vit d bloods were repeated and turned out lower than medicheck I have dropped from 59.9 to 55.2 in a week range being 50-120. This said I’m satisfactory and need no further treatment.
Anyways, I’m now on T3 have lost 3lbs in the 4 days I’ve been taking it and I have done nothing different. I have just ordered 5000iu strength vit d and hopefully all will be getting better. Needless to say I will not be following doctors advice. (I’m GF anyways btw).

Hi Mazabel, that is great news and confirmation that trusting your instincts is really the best route to restoring our health! Can I ask if you could PM me regarding where you sourced your T3. I am based in the UK. Presumably you are too? I have been taking NDT for a while and have gone every which way with dosing but it still isn't getting into my cells. Whilst I am going to be spending the next few months doing some detoxing, I am considering taking T3 in the meantime. I would also be interested to hear about your dosing and timing, albeit I know everyone is unique...to have such fast results is wonderful and proof that your body was crying out for T3 which I know mine is too - even though I could still do with more T4 to be optimal too. Thank you and congrats!
She has already replied to me direct Mazabel but thank you anyway. I would be really interested to know more about your experience though. Whether you are only doing T3 or T4 or NDT too? Your dose? Thanks again. x
Im combining t3 & t4, im taking 1/4 tablet a day along with my t4 (150mcgm). I take it in the morning first thing on an empty stomach and don’t have anything for an hour afterwards. X
My GP was against t3 until he saw the difference in me. I saw an endo private first time, he also agreed with me and put me on his nhs list of patients, so i get my t3 on nhs, persevere and keep a journal to show gp of symptoms gone.
I was doing yoga twice a week for last year, wonderful teacher who turned out to be a con woman/fraudster! she was so lovely and often did lessons in peoples homes, she was stealing while there, especially personal documents for identity fraud. Thank goodness i declined all offers of half price lessons at home. She is wanted by the police for a string of offences, even her dog turned out to be stolen from someone she dog sat for! So bang goes my yoga classes!!
Wow lucky you , iv been taking T3 along with my levo and actually gained weight , I dont even bother asking GP advice any more because they are clueless , best advice ever from members here 😁 glad your feeling better
