Anybody had this injection which has lots of long term side effects. My gp says it's a coincidence my thyroid TSH went up on it. Now left with rheumatic pains but bloods show no rheumatoid.
The injection was given for fibroids but it is a chemo drug. Be warned.
Oh yes I can relate. I had 2 Lupron injections they had to be stopped because I got extreme headaches and very high blood pressure. I think they damaged my HPA axis. My thyroid functions well providing I have enough T4 but my TSH never rises high enough to push it. I wish I never had those injections. It was 7 years ago but I have never been well since. Body pain was my worst symptom, adrenaline rush and just never feeling well. All my symptoms pointed to thyroid but my doctor won't hear of it because TSH doesn't rise even though T4 and T3 were low. I tried levo with no joy but I have discovered that giving it time my body eventually adjusted to 50mcg and it has boosted my T4. It took months for my body to settle down and accept the levo, I've been on it 7 months now and it looks like I could raise it a little more now but I will have to do it slowly or the adrenaline starts again. I buy my own levo as doc won't hear of it. X
Thank you replying. I have joined a Lupron support site on Facebook and amazed at how many people have suffered with no acknowledgement from Drs, nhs. I take Levoth but no amount heals pain. I think other things have been affected but getting no answers. Do you buy levo from Spain?

Normal blood tests again but still feeling awful and getting worse.
Still doing well on new thiroyd plus new blood test
Blood test: T3 normal, still feel exhausted on 20 mcg Liothyronine 
More blood tests and still 'normal' !
