A uric acid mess - would really welcome your opinion

Hi Guys,

I've been advised by my endo to eat a diet rich in proteins (organ meat, etc) as, besides underactive thyroid, I also had anemia. This didn't always work, so I had some iron infusions which seemed to work. I stopped following protein rich diet and included carbs but when I needed to lose a few pounds I would turn to protein rich diet again - although never for long.

My uric acid seemed to be going up steadily. The last three tests taken over 2 years or so are above the range - and always going up suggesting I will soon have a full-blown gout. For some reason, my creatinin also started creeping up. Urologist suggested the uric acid is responsible and advised on little or no protein diet. No beans, no mushrooms, no soft cheese, no grapes, no wine, no nuts...the list goes on. What I am worried about is that I will quickly end up anaemic again. Any thoughts on the matter?

I felt well for the first time in ages and have plenty of energy at the moment. Ferritin, vitamin B and vitamin D plus Selenium are currently very good. Vit B9 seems to be over (probably because of taking good supplements for 3 months). Where do I go from here? As always, your advice is greatly appreciated.
