efficacy of 2 year opened Armour?

Can anyone advise me whether an unopened pot of Armour expiry date 2018 ,stored correctly will still be ok to use ? And whether one that has been opened at least 2 years with a 2018 expiry date, stored the same will be too ?

I am sure they will still be effective. I think in the past there was no use-by date on prescription drugs.

Gillybean1, If it were me, I would definitely not have any concerns about using tabs from the unopened bottle. I suspect they will be fine for years to come. I doubt there's any reason to question the tabs in the opened bottle either. At worst they may have lost a little potency, but I'm not convinced of that and would happily take them myself.

I’ve taken meds that have expired. I’m source that they are ok from a safety point of view. They may be a bit less efficacious but other than that they haven’t caused any adverse effects.
