Has anyone recently switched from Levothyroxine to this, if so how did they do it ?

Was it a stop on and take the other, how did you access dosage, how are you feeling ?

Any problems buying ?

Thanks and Happy Easter 🐇🌼🌞

Hi Hidden , I’ve been looking at alternatives too and found a post from two years ago; might help you. I’m not sure how to link to the post itself but if you put the details below into a search it should show up. You could also put the name in and that should show posts from that person. Good luck!

Thyro-Gold comparable dose to Levothyroxine

I’m just looking at alternatives at the mo as I seem to be okay with Levo (for most of 57 years) but my issue is GP/Endo reducing and my health suffering. Already had one major fall and aiming to look after myself in meantime till I find a more empathetic GP/Endo. I don’t like going it alone but nor should I - and others - have to suffer.

I’ve just seen Shaws post below too so will look into that.

Wish you all the best!

Thyro Gold was invented by one of TUK's Advisers - Dr John Lowe. Unfortunately for us, the patients, he died through an accident but his widow is now dealing with this. It doesn't need prescribing and that was a deliberate aim of Dr Lowe - for people to source it without prescriptions.

There's no problem buying as it is non-prescriptive. I shall give you a link which will be helpful:-

You can switch from your present dose to thyro-gold instantly and there is step-by-step instructions..

Dr Lowe developed it particularly so that it needed no prescription.

In this blog, it states that Tammy Lowe advises "In our 300 mg [tablet] it has 100 mcg of T4, and it has 25 mcg of T3 per capsule. Plus the T2, the T1 and the Calcitonin." calcitonin.
