Purchasing T3

Can someone PM me where they get T3 please privately. In 20 mcgs or less.

My GP surgery is starting to put up barriers even though a private endo has identified I benefit as my Hashis is combined with poor T3 to T4 conversion.

Thanks

Obtaining T3 without prescription from the usual sources members use, that is normally 25mcg. It is possible to cut the tablets.

How are you obtaining your current T3? NHS prescription?

Yes but the witch hunt has started with me. I may loose it.

But you don't yet know if you will lose it, presumably. And if that is threatened then you can appeal if you can show you have a need for it and it's helping. SlowDragon has information and links about this.

A Private endo technically doesn't count, for NHS prescribed T3

We know from her first post on the forum that she takes Morningside T3, but not who initiated the prescription so I'm not sure whether the T3 is prescribed on the NHS or not.

I asked

How are you obtaining your current T3? NHS prescription?

and the answer was

Yes but the witch hunt has started with me. I may loose it.

So my assumption was that it was an NHS prescription, the witch hunt has started (a private endo wouldn't do that if giving a private prescription, surely) and she may loose it. I may be wrong though, the answer is not really clear.

Perhaps you can clarify fostercraig If it's NHS prescribed, SlowDragon may be able to help.

Can you see your endo as NHS patient, or can they get you referral to T3 friendly NHS endocrinologist

Yes private and he told the Doctor that I was not converting well and would benefit from T3. I was given T3 2 years ago and was much improved improved from a pretty poor state. I am waiting for a call form GP surgery as my repeat prescription was bounced this morning.

Oh my Endo is private.

Ask your endocrinologist to give you a private prescription

Needs to read

Liothyronine 20mcg x 100 tablets

This enables access to cheap T3 from Germany

31 Euro plus 8 Euro p&p

Takes about a week to arrive.

You will need to make sure the prescription conforms to cross-border prescription requirements. Standard NHS ones do - but I have no idea whether all private ones do. (Time was, some doctors would scribble on a piece of paper and rely on the local pharmacist recognising the signature.)

See here:

It is also unclear when German pharmacies would stop recognising UK prescriptions during a brexit process.
