Help please blood test

Just got blood result. TSH level below normal range result 0.15miu/L. I have been underactive on 1.25 mg thyroxin for a few years. Does this result mean I need more or less thyroxin.

Depends how you feel. Do you feel alright or do you have hypersymtoms, shaking, too hot, fast heartbeat, rapid weight loss, that kind of thing?

Be wary of doctors who attempt to give you enough thyroid hormones to make you feel ok, then they panic about low tsh. There is no logic to this system. Its not possible to have enough meds and higher tsh. Its one or the other.

Low tsh on its own wont really do any harm, but free t3, over range could possibly cause some problems with bone loss.

X.

I have felt good daytime. At night I am edgy restless and unable to sleep. I see nurse Friday and will ask her to explain. I jumped to conclusions when receptionist said doc had done me a script. I was thinking he was giving me more thyroxin, when he may have reduced it. I will repost when I understand a bit more. Many thanks everyone.

Hi, Doc has reduced me slightly. I have missed a dose and lowered my dose a day or two. I feel better already and slept last night first time in weeks. Now I know what over feels like, worse than under! Many thanks

1.25 mg thyroxine???? Doesn't sound right to me

Mine is often below 1 and is flagged as low, but my GP always ignores it. I feel fine so I don’t worry. Suspect you mean 125micrograms?

It would be good for you to post your full blood test results with the ranges for more answers.
