TT 2018 cancer

Rai Oct 2018

TSH need to be under 1

Taking 175mcg levo

TSH 1.83 0.27-4.2

T4 22.4 (10-21)

T3 4.3 (3.5-6.5)

Endo wants me on 200 Tuesday,Thursday,Saturday

And all other days 175

The worry is that I tried 200 every day for 4 weeks and could not control my anxiety and depression

He has said there is nothing more he can do for me??

You had quite a few replies to the same question a few days ago when your results were

T4 23.7. 10-21

T3 4.8. 3.5-6.5

Your FT4 and FT3 aren't much different now. There really isn't much else that anyone can add to what's already been said. You need T3. If this endo wont help, you have a couple of choices - find another endo who will, or self source T3 and add it yourself to a lower dose of Levo.

Make a new post asking members to recommend, by private message, where you can source T3.

Have you got the list of recommended thyroid specialists from Dionne at Thyroid Uk?

There are several very pro T3 endocrinologists on the list

A private prescription enables access to cheap T3 from Germany

31 Euro for 20mcg Thybon Henning x 100 tablets

UK T3 is £204 for 28 tablets.

Hence why many CCG's have pressurised NHS endocrinologists not to prescribe unless patients kick up huge fuss

Once on T3, assuming it goes well ......Might be worth looking at DNA tests

If you test positive for DIO2 gene variation this may help in getting T3 on NHS
