Adrenals? Have you had your cortisol tested?

Hello grey goose... No i haven't....

Might be an idea, if you can. Your doctor will only do an early morning serum cortisol - which might not be as early as all that! But, the best test is a 24 hour saliva cortisol test done privately by Medichecks.

If you're going to do a 24 hour saliva adrenal test, use Regenerus or Genova, they include DHEA - cortisol and DHEA should be looked at together. Medichecks and Blue Horizon don't include DHEA.

I use Regenerus as they send results direct to you, with Genova they go to ThyroidUK who then have to send them on to you.

Perhaps try adding a good quality daily vitamin C if not doing so already

Helps support adrenals

Or try an adrenal cocktail

Adrenals are working hard to rebalance everything around 5-7 weeks after dose increase in Levothyroxine

Failure of treatment to resolve hypothyroidism, due to poor conversion? Five weeks after starting therapy is a nice time for all of the poor conversion symptoms to start showing up. They sometimes follow a circadian rhythm, though it can be hard to recognize at first, due to the confusing nature of the signs. Having rT3 measured in your blood tests would give insight into conversion issues.
