TSH alone is not enough, FT4 and FT3 are also needed as these tell you your hormone levels.
In this post, SlowDragon mentioned that NHS Leeds Teaching Hospital says that TSH should be between 0.2 and 2.0 when on Levothyroxine and gave you a link
and in this post I gave you a quote from Dr Toft about TSH and where FT4/FT3 levels should be and suggested you send for the article to discuss with your GP
New NHS England Liothyronine guidelines November 2018 clearly state on pages 8 & 12 that TSH should be between 0.4-1.5 when treated with just Levothyroxine
Note that it says test should be in morning BEFORE taking Levothyroxine
Refused to do vit blood tests they know I was vit D deficient so as I’m taking vit D all is ok? I assumed they were doing all the thyroid as it said on the blood form thyroid bloods then the Tfts I’ve been ok not had chance to come on the site working and looking after hubby my health needs didn’t seem important until I crashed with all the symptoms I had before x
