Where to get T3, specifically Tiromel if possible

Hello everyone,

My partner has had hashimoto’s for about 12ish years, and for the most part of that was able to source NDT from a place which is now over priced and under sourced, so he had to switch to liothyronine.

He managed to get a prescription ( this is in the UK ) of 20 mcg 3 times daily which was ripped away within the last 7 months, and had to source Tiromel from certain websites.

Now, the website we’ve been using since the prescription was withdrawn has either gone down, is simply not communicating for whatever reason and so we’re looking for other places to source T3.

For reference, before taking NDT he was given T4, and from what he’s told me he was unable to tolerate it as it gave him so many adverse effects. It seems he is unable to convert levothyroxin. NDT worked best for him, but liothyronine was a second choice.

In addition to hashimotos, he has diabetes (Type 1), and now Crohn’s, all if which are under control - except of course for hashimotos.

Any information for sources of T3 would be greatly appreciated. Tiromel especially, as he’s used it for a while and he feels quite good on it, but any T3 is better than no T3.
