Are you OK? That is a long time to be in bed with the flu - do you have a chest infection or similar that might need an antibiotic.

Now unfortunately you would need a blood test to see if you are low in FT4 and FT3 before making any decision to alter your dose and you are probably not up to doing all that at the moment. The reason I was curious about your post was that during one of my experiments with my dose I deliberately lowered my dose to see if my doctor was right that I should be taking a little less medication (he was wrong btw!). However, when my dose was below par I went through a whole spectrum of minor, then major sicknesses - until I couldn't stand it anymore and reverted to the dose that worked for me.

First I had a never ending series of snivels and the continuous desire to lie in a half sleep state on my sofa. I then had a weeks worth of out and out raging flu. I was so sick I had to crawl to the bathroom at it's peak. Shortly after that episode I increased my thyroid meds back to my normal. So the answer to your question is yes, probably, but you should never increase any med or anything else for that matter without knowing your baseline first.
