to obtain erfa at reasonable price?

I am now retired, suffering from ME/CFS, and have moved to France where there is no recognised treatment on offer. Over the past few years it has become clear that thyroid is an important variable (I am hypothyroid unless on medication) and I have experimented with different doses of Levothyrox and Cynomel, separately and together. Cynomel (T3) doesn’t work for me, and levo at anything over 25 mcg makes me ridiculously jumpy and prevents me sleeping. I have been seeing a private doctor on intermittent visits to London, who advises on diet and supplements, and has now prescribed Erfa. This definitely making a difference, meaning I feel more ‘normal’ and stronger, though my stamina is still low. However, through a local chemist in London my first prescription for Erfa cost nearly £300 for 42 grains. I need to establish a reliable and reasonable UK source of supply, and I understand from this doctor that many patients end up buying it online. I would really appreciate any advice on obtaining this - possibly too risky to have it sent direct to France (irrespective of Brexit) as they may impound it in customs, but I can have it sent to my son’s address in London.
