Hey!

How much time should pass between thyroxine and a Vitamin B complex?

Thanks!

I have seen 4 hours and Vit D is better with your fattiest meal of the day so presumably dinner. Doctor recently told me to double the recommended dose as in the north of England we just don't get enough sunshine and it was still low. Your body just get rid of the excess.

4 hours seems like a little bit too long .. I heard that vitamin B don‘t affect the absorption of thyroxine that much.

I take thyroxine at 7am , vitamin b complex 9am and vitamin D 4pm :)

Vit D, Calcium and iron need a 4 hour gap.

Any fat soluble vitamin should be taken with some dietary fat, or choose an oil based supplement such as a softgel containing olive oil. Fat soluble vitamins are A,K,E,D.

Vit B supplements need 2 hours (as do most others)

If you take any sublingual supplements then timing isn't a problem as it bypasses the stomach.
