Thyroid cancer

Anyone with or had thyroid cancer? I have had half removed (Dec 2018). Full thyriodectomy on 25th feb and radiation treatment due in April. I am highly sensitive to all drugs esp fillers and coatings and i am petrified to go on thyroxine. Any advice please? Is the liquid better? Thank you. Also, what is this about hair loss? I have no thyriod symptoms at the moment. My thyroid works fine.... but will be removed due to the cancer and have to start thyroxone sadly.

I had the remaining lobe and isthmus removed in September for what turned out to be an early stage micro Papillary cancer having had the other one removed 32 years prior for a benign condition.

My dose of Levothyroxine is 100 mcg which I take with no problem. My hair is a bit thinner now, but I have found some hair products that make the difference almost unnoticeable.

If you live in the UK, there are 4 different kind of levothyroxine. Wockhardt is said to have the least fillers. Most people are fine on levothyroxine. Adjusting your dose to be just right for you is probably going to take a little time. Check all your vitamin levels are good with blood tests.
