Our next meeting is Saturday 9th Feb, 2.00-4.00pm in Chorley town centre. Please note that although very central (only a five-minute walk from the rail and bus stations) there is also plenty of free parking nearby. Right opposite there is a car park which offers the first three hours free and if this is full there is plenty of free parking on residential streets nearby.

Please do not feel that you have to attend for the full “meeting”. I prefer to call our “meetings” get-togethers as they are quite informal: a drink, chat, chance to meet others experiencing similar and share information and ideas. There is a broad range of experience within the group.

I think it is very important that you have the time and space to discuss and share your own concerns during the meeting. We have, however, to give PART OF the meeting a little more focus, recently decided to have a topic that we have decided mutually beforehand. The rationale behind this is that we can then perhaps achieve a bit more detail. Only if you feel you want to, you may then have the opportunity to bring along any information/ideas/recommendations or questions on this topic. The focus topic for Feb 9th is GUT HEALTH. This is the first time we are trying this approach so it may be that the discussion on gut health dies a death after 15 minutes….. or it may be that there is a lot of interest. Let's see!
