ran out of Tiromel, what will happen ?

Hello,

took my last tablet of tiromel today and just ordered last week but it didn’t arrive yet.

Now, how long will it take to clear all of the T3 in my Cells ( not blood ) out ? When will I start to feel symptoms again ?

How many are you on because even tho T3 is short life a little remains dependant on your dose I have found that out myself

That’s will probably last you 2 days in all honesty . Don’t panic .

You will probably end up feeling rubbish at some point, but it shouldn't do you any longer term harm. Make sure you can rest a lot while you don't have your meds, and avoid exertion, to avoid using up what T3 you've got.

I think it's quite useful to get to know things like what happens when you stop your tablets, so there can be something positive. There are a lot of individual differences. I start feeling terrible within about half a day of missing my dose, but when I was on a lower dose I was a lot less sensitive. Often people feel improved for a few days without a dose.

I've also had a crash around the 3rd day when I've stopped all hormone, I think this is the T3 finally running out.
