Carbi working but feel no better

Been on 15mg of Carbi since October when my T4 was 21 but result from early Dec was its gone down to 14 range 7 to 14 TSH static at close to zero .Doctor concludes this proves I have over active thyroid and Carbi working so I can go down to 10mg.Had an anti body test and it was fine but still to find out which antibody test this was .I have asthma.On 30mg of Propranalol a day .How come I am still fatigued coughing a lot have hot flushes and loose bowels could it be extra chocolate I am having or maybe a cold or chest infection .Ps happy New year eveyone

Hi Riley,

Happy new year. Do you eat much iodine rich foods? When I was hyper eating any iodine rich food or even using face or body creams with seaweed in them gave me hot flushes. I think you can really help yourself by reducing any sea fish, sea salt or seaweed products you may be consuming and be careful they use lots of other names for seaweed (agar, carrageen etc). Chocolate does have some iodine and act as a stimulant but personally I never gave up that or milk cos I considered that a quality of life thing. But obviously being aware is important.
