Oh..sorry SeasideSusie! I'm feeling OK...it seem that no matter how low or high the doses of medication are, or what brand...I always feel exactly the same way...I don't really understand why. When I say "OK," I mean I'm 70 years old and do not have the energy I had when I was younger..fatigue pretty easily, but then I have COPD, too, so who knows. I've just kind of learned to live with it. My insurance will only cover the cost of levothyroxine, so I'm debating on whether I should go on it, but just can't handle changing once again. Thank you for responding to me!
I have COPD too, and bronchiectasis, also had heart problems this year, all of which can make us tired so it's sometimes difficult to know what is causing the fatigue. I am also the same age as you.
It's taken me a long time, but through trial and error, optimising vitamins and minerals, addressing adrenals and tweaking doses of Levo and T3, I now know where those results need to be for me to feel well thyroid-wise. That being so, I now know when my other conditions make me feel unwell or fatigued.
