Increased t3 by 5 mcg a week ago and now my temp taken in ear is 37.5 heart rate this afternoon is 86. Yesterday and this morning it was 70. Do you think I am overmedicated and shall go bact to previous dose?

As far as I know, T3 doesn’t raise temperature above normal so it looks more likely you have a bug of some kind that will need to take its course. I don’t think I’d reduce my dosage on the basis of a one off heart rate reading. 86 isn’t terribly fast anyway. Uncomfortable perhaps when you’ve been used to 70 but not racing.
See how you go tomorrow. With T3, you tend to have a fairly instant reaction - it’s not like taking Levo when it can take weeks to build up to its new level.
I wouldn’t have thought so. It sounds again more like you have a bug of some kind. I know it’s scary raising your dose but you’ve only upped it by 5mcg and what you’re describing doesn’t sound like obvious symptoms of over medication.
Clara9, I sometimes get similar signs of overtreatment until I settle down after a dose increase. Feeling hot and aching leg muscles are things I’ve had with too high a dose. As T3 rises, I eventually get an unpleasant feeling that I can only describe as feeling ‘beside myself’. We are all different, and I think few people are as sensitive to levels as I am, and you may be...
if you have an infection of some kind thyroid levels can go haywire so it’s worth waiting a little until you’re sure. T3 levels drop quickly when you reduce. Let me know how it goes x
So you would lower back down the 5mcg I increased.
I personally find with too much T3 my heart of pounding at 110 and I am unable to sleep at all. I agree with the others.Just allow your body to get used to the dose, it doesn't sound like T3 causing symptoms.A pulse in the 80s or 90s is normal for lots of people.
My resting HR is 62 and my body temp 96.8 ...I feel my HR pulsating at 80 bpm. Do these thing really indicate if your over or under medicated? Interesting.
