I had half of my thyroid removed due to a what they think is a cyst and I would just like to share my photos so far to let everyone know what to expect. I didn’t experience any pain really throughout only a sore throat and sore lip from where I may have bitten in surgery could also eat fine. Only thing I’ve had is really stiff neck during recovery meaning I can’t stand for long or sit on a normal chair I’m currently on day 6 recovery.
This is on day 6 removal of clips/staples

Thank you so much for sharing. My mum had a partial thyroidectomy in 1980. It was horrible. Just shows how much technology has moved on. I wish you a speedy recovery x
God forbid your doctor(s) made a mistake but most cysts that I'm aware of are benign. What was the reason they gave? Were you diagnosed with thyroid cancer? May the Lord's blessings & peace be upon you, I ask only in my ignorance but, also, for truth's sake.
