On Levo I always had ups and downs, feeling amazing for a week or so and very bad after, then good again etc., even while being on a stable dose for 2 months.
While I was on a high dose on Levo 2 years ago, I had those results
TSH - 0,01
fT4 - 20 (12 - 22)
fT3 - 5.6 (3,2 - 6,8)
I felt dreadful. Then I lowered my dose, but still felt bad, with occasional good days. The results were
TSH - 1,55
fT4 - 18,84 (12 - 22)
fT3 - 5,46 (3,1 - 6,8)
Now I'm on NDT+some low dose T4
TSH - 3,7
fT4 - 13,97 (12 - 22)
fT3 - 5,5 (3,1 - 6,8)
I do better with those last results on NDT, but it's still not quite right and maybe lacking some effects which were on Levo.
I think my results on Levo have always looked good, but longer term I'm not feeling well enough even with fT3=5,5. It's very strange to me.
So I'm just curious if someone could explain me if it's possible to have all the typical thyroid symptoms with those results or I simply have an alien's biochemistry

I spread my NDT throughout the day. Maybe there is less absorbtion, because I dissolve it in the mouth. Sometimes even half of grain can make me feel from bad to much better. But till now it looks I feel best and stable througout day (for a week) when I convert Levo, not taking NDT.
Thanks for the advice. I just can't reach stable well-being on NDT. Higher doses previously resulted in overstimulation, hyper symptoms, I wasn't able to sleep
Commonly with hypothyroidism, there can be low vitamin and mineral levels. It’s to do with the gut absorbing less well. So although your thyroid hormone levels were ok, it’s possible your Vit B12, folate, ferritin and Vit D etc weren’t/still aren’t. Ever had them tested?
PS - according to those results, you weren’t over medicated at the point just before you reduced your dosage.
You might need to support adrenals . Thyroids and adrenals work in unison . Vitamin "C," B-5 , Celtic Sea Salt . Going gluten , dairy , sugar free is very beneficial too .
I was gluten, dairy, sugar free for some months. It could helped me feel little better overall, but didn't change the up and down situation with Levo.
Cortisol is an important topic to me. It is difficult to diagnose it right. Private endo at first told me I could have adrenal fatigue, but after seeing test results her opinion changed - it's rather overactive HPA axis and high cortisol.
Earlier for experiment I took small dose of prednisolone, but it made me feel worse - more water retention, a lot of anxiety and sugar cravings. So worse
In summer minerals were OK except for folate, which I supplemented. Some years ago, when I first tried Levo, I had very low vit D and, I believe, other vits after living for years in hypothyroid state. But Levo worked very well.
With TSH=0,01 I felt worst in my life soon after feeling best for 3 weeks. It is strange because I don't think that blood results would change much in short periods of time, but my symptoms on Levo usually are. If I take too much Levo, I always get the return of hypothyroid symptoms. Taking NDT I have more stability, but it's not enough to fully resolve the symptoms
