There is an error in my post.. I was on 1 grain westhroid + 50 of eltroxin when my levels were over the range so that's why I think the 9 of t3 in the grain is too much for me as I wasn't sleeping when on it. With the thybon it's 20 mcgs so difficult to split in smaller doses. Could I take the thybon every second day? Yes I have Hashis. Does there need to be a certain ratio of t4 and t3 or just go by how you feel. I feel bad for so long 13 years I don't know what normal is anymore
Don't take T3 every other day.. that's not the way to use it.. it works immediately so lots of people split it into tiny bits and take it through the day.
Confused as to why you were on NDT plus T3.. are you self medicating?
do you have evidence that you don't convert well?
Have you ever felt good on any combination and what was it?
I wasn't on NDT and t3 I'm talking about the 9 mcgs in the grain of NDT That I was on with the 50 of t4. I have never felt well on any combination but dosing was exacerbated by having a fib and doc not wanting to give too much t3. Have had a successful ablation since and I don't think suppressed tsh was the problem.I am self medicating to a degree. The doc I attend is happy for me to do that and keep testing He dismisses thyroid as my main problem but I think it's huge hence trying to sort it myself
I have a toxic goiter my tsh is up and down I have hashimotos. You can get an inflammation of your thyroid which can resolve on its own. You need to see an endocrinologist who specializes in thyroid conditions
