I have had a routine blood test - results below

Serum free T4 = 15.1 pmol/L

Serum TSH = 0.94 mU/L (0.35-4.94)

No T3 naturally

I feel well and currently on 100 meg Levo x 7 days plus 24mcg alternate days.

My TSH is the highest it’s ever been since I have been keeping records as you advised since I joined joined 3 years ago

My doc is happy to leave me on my current dose.

Does anyone have any comment on my TSH levels?

It's where it's recommended to be for a treated hypo patient - 1 or below.

If you feel well, then leave well alone.

Just out of interest, I'm wondering where your FT4 lies within it's range. Do you have the range?

Thank you for this - no the print out didn’t give me a range for T4

How are your vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 levels ?

You need FT3 test too obviously

Private testing is likely necessary, though you might retry GP first

Thank you Slowdragon - I didn’t have those levels tested this time. So hard to get GP to write up other things - so many cutbacks. He did give me a form for a re test in 6 months but again no FT3. The usual story that they only rely on TSH and FT4. I will write and try and have F3 and the other levels checked - if not I will do what I did before and do a private test as well . Shouldn’t have to do that! Bottom line - I am feeling well at the moment so that’s positive.
