Hormone Imbalance Symptom Charts!
Hmmm… I think that's a bit simplistic. A lot of those symptoms can be due to all of those imbalances. And they've missed an awful lot of symptoms out. And one or two hormones, too!
No worries 😉 It’s meant to be simplistic! A helpful guide that lists some of the common symptoms! It’s clearly not designed to be an exhaustive list! We are not experts on here, just people trying to help and be supportive of each other!
Lol😁. Yes spot on bluepetals, endos fave words- "it's not your thyroid" "its something else" blah blah blah!! Sad but true - can't be arsed attitude.👍👍
It’s shocking isn’t it! Took me almost 2 years to be diagnosed with a pituitary tumor after being told that I don’t have an endocrine problem and they couldn’t explain my sysmptoms. Have a thyroid module but they don’t seem concerned about that!
It just goes to prove that the medical profession are not always right and you are correct alsio,- keep fighting for what you believe and there is something wrong somewhere, my sister too was also told she did not have a problem with her gynae problens- well she fought also 9 months later they found a cancerous Timor hidden in her womb.
I too have several nodules they are not bothered about but do cause issues with me but Endo disagrees!! Well its not his bloody body so how does he know? I'm ready and armed in September for my appt. Lol😁
I think the effects are too often misunderstood by GPs. It is really frustrating and all I would say is just persevere!
Why would I be defensive? I'm just trying to help people, too, and I think that chart is misleading. I don't think it does help because of the cross-over of symptoms, and could lead people up the wrong path. That's all. You are the one defending it.
I don't think GG was being defensive, 😁 maybe it cone across like that being it is like texting and not verbally saying it, I know GG and you would know for certain if she was being defensive. But onwards and upwards. Xx
Have they checked her kidneys or adrenal glad? Maybe it’s gastro?
Lol what a great idea- a endo- our next career. 🙌👍
Yes of course but I'm sure you know that a lot of symptoms can mean different other illnesses but what you have explained was exactly Like my sisters too, my sister had constant pain which affected her bladder and bowels- the Tumor was very imbedded and good at hiding, she had many different tests done for months nothing and many go's saying she was imagining her pain, she continued to fight as mum 20 years ago had a very rare womb cancer which she survived, there is a name for this type of womb cancer ,mums was hidden too but lucily she had a very top consultant who found it thank god. My sister persisted and found a very good consultant who listerned to her and she told him about mum too- he found it!! She was in the local newspaper and one of the national ones as she had amade a complaint about the docs and other consultants and had a written apology from the medical board- she made them look like idiots basically.
I would tell your sister to keep persisting and do not give up. I hope she is OK bluepetals and I am very sure you will support her with finding the cause.😁
I would second that!!👍👍👍
I agree she should get copies. It’s worth her asking for the additional tests even if she has to go private!
Sounds like there are so many bad Endos it’s shocking!!
She is very lucky to have you! You could call her GP and say you are speaking confidentially and express your concerns. I did that once for an ex - GP sent him a letter saying they were just checking in and never told him what I said
Sorry I don’t?
lol
I will get it for you as I have wrote it down on a piece of paper in my jewellery box as mum thought we may need it for our reference later in years- one gp told me it was not heridatry!! My sister had it too, is it OK if I post it in around 20 mins as I'm just caught up in something at moment.xx
I had some probs with bleeding a couple of years back and was told my womb was thicker than it should be but my biopsy was clear I also had laparoscopy looking around and that was clear too. Don't worry.xx
Hey dont worry and stress it may not be yet it could be something else👍👍
Could perhaps be a condition called - “Endometrial hyperplasia” which is a non cancerous (benign) condition where the lining of the womb becomes thickened. Doing a biopsy means they are being thorough and taking no chances which is good! Best to speak to a medical professional though x
Endometrial carcel sarcoma- is what mum had, I remember the consultant saying it is very rare and difficult to find and people are not known to survive, I remember the consultant had to get info on it from the rotal marsden hospital who then contacted somewhere else abroad as they did not know whether it would be successful, sisters was the same too and was successful., not saying your sister has it as there is so many things it could be, mum is still here 20 years later🌟🌟
Or can be called stromal. Symptoms, pain in abdomen
Frequent urination.
Bleeding.
Feeling of being bloated and full.
Not sure but hoping you find answers soon! Sounds like they are still investigating & it might help to request copies of their reports x
Full hysterectomy and radiotherapy. Mum was in remission five years later with no trouble since. Sister is not in remission until another 2 years but has had a lot of other probs since connected to bladder and bowels.x
Both of them saw gynae and oncology, endocrine was not involved. Hope this helps but please do not fret as this may not be the case, we were toldit was a very aggressive form of cancer, my sister was very Lucy as she waited a further 9 months because GPS said she imagined it all👎
Pain can be a host of many many things that can take months to find out why? So many tests, appointments etc, does not always mean anything serious.😁
Yeah they didn’t seem too concerned about the nodule but they are also supposed to monitor incase they grow or change and become more sinister.
I agree to a certain degree but some do cause problems like mine- swallowing, choking, pressure sensation on the trachea, which means if they cause issues they should be removed- endos just cannot be bothered!!
