As I understand it you were on 100 mcg and you have taken 200 mcg for a few weeks. Also your dose was increased from 50 mcg to 100 mcg because your TSH was high. Was this increase before you knew you were pregnant? When you become pregnant they should increase your dose by 25 to 50 mcg.
I would stop taking your levothyroxine for two or three days and then resume at 100 mcg. This will not fully compensate for your double dose but will bring you closer.
The emergency blood test isn't much use because we know you have been on too much for a few weeks. I wouldn't worry about that result, it will simply show you were on too much. You doctor should keep your TSH below 3.0 as you are pregnant. It would make sense for you to continue on 100 or 125 mcg for a few weeks and then have another blood test to make sure your TSH is at the correct level.
It's very difficult to assess risk for the baby. We know that hypothyroid patients with a TSH above 3.0 have a higher risk for the baby. However, they can only just detect this risk and of course it matters how high the TSH is e.g. 4.0 or 40.0. It's not good to have too much hormone either but I don't know the risks. I would not be too concerned, the foetus is able to regulate its own hormone levels to some extent. I don't think anyone can give you an accurate assessment of risk but I believe it is low. It's more important to get your hormone levels correct now. I think worrying about it would probably be more harmful than the temporary excess hormone!
OK, so it's good that the doctor did a blood test. Post the results on here, when you get them. And, if I were you, I would follow jimh111's advice and stop taking your levo for a few days. But, it should be alright. Try not to worry about it.
How do you feel, by the way? Do you feel better? Worse? The same as when you were on 100 mcg?
Thank you yes I have stop taking levo and bcoz I'm pregnant so didn't noticed but I'm feeling very tired disturb sleeping and day before yesterday mild itching started on my body I thought it's bcoz of pregnancy
When Doctor changed your dose are you still taking the same brand of Thyroid medication? I'm just wondering with you saying you started itching whether you are taking a different brand and the new one has a different filler in it that is causing the itching. It is recommended that we always stick with a brand we are happy with for that reason.
I had my children before I had a thyroid problem but I'm sure I've seen that when pregnant the TSH should be lower than 2.5 so check on that asap.
