Thyroid-S changed?

Hi,

Recently my Thyroid-S which used to work so well seems not to be effective any more. Does anybody know if the formulation has changed -- or if it is possible that some suppliers are using placebo?

How long have you been taking the dose? Do you think you need a small increase in dose if you are getting some symptoms?

I wouldn't think suppliers would provide a placebo as they'd lose lots of clients.

Hi Shaws,

Return of symptoms roughly coincidental with a new supply - approx 2 weeks after. I will try to increase dose slightly to see how it goes. Thanks for your advice.

Hi

I noticed my new supply was different and tasted like a bit of sugar had been added. It took me a good while to get used to it and I upped it 1/2 of a grain.

Headaches have gone thankfully!

It might be helpful if you can post batch numbers and expiry dates. I suggested we did this a while back as there was a similar query but everyone was upping their dose and I lowered mine. Having said that I'm away T the moment and haven't the original packaging to hand so I can't post mine at the moment but it may help others if you do a brief post with medication details plus how you feel on if. Others taking that brand are them more likely to comment.
