Hi just wanted to share something,I started on thyroid S 2 weeks ago taking 1 tablet in 2 halves,1in morn and 1 mid afternoon. I know it takes a few weeks to.kick in,but decided to take 1 tablet in morn and half before bed and I really feel much better its as if my body needed more in morn, and my body temp has gone up a bit too.

If it's working for you that's good. Go by how you feel and take note of your temp and pulse about 3 times a day as well. Beginning before you get out of bed.

Caroash, increasing half a grain every two weeks until you are on 2 grains is fine but hold at 2 grains for 6 weeks and have a thyroid test to check levels before increasing further.

So pleased TS is working for you Caroash. Wish it would for me. Perhaps I will give it another try soon as it is by far the easiest option of NDT (and cheapest by the sound of it).

Hi no this is my first type of thyroid meds,my bit d has just come back low, so hopefully once on supplements I should feel even better and thyroid s should work better.I can't remember if low d causes thyroid problems or if low thyroid caused low vit d,but one should help the other.

Hi yes I think upping the dose from 1 to 1 and a half helped, but I did take nutri thyro complex and took Floridax too for a few weeks to help iron,b12 and folate levels I'm still not 100% ,but feel I have turned a corner.I have a letter from docs my vit d is low so I have a tel app,so I think I'll be prescribed some.I was quite shocked my bit d is low as really healthy diet,I think its lack of sunlight.I hope you find the right thyroid meds,I have nothing else to compare to as this is my first one.

I've just started Thyroid S, Caroash, so interested to see your post. Don't worry about being low on Vit D, most people are, they just don't realise it. And the guidelines are now much higher. My GP said I would probably benefit and prescribed it, so that's something at least.
