Recommendations for endos specialising in central hypothyroidism?

I have just joined the forum following my wife's putting my blood test results up yesterday and the recommendation that I ask if anybody has had a good experience with a endocrinologist specialising in central hypothyroidism. I live in the W Midlands of England, I am prepared to travel, and might be willing to go private in some circumstances. Please pm me if you have any advice/experience to offer.

My recent results are as follows:

9th July 18

TSH 3.53 (0.27-4.20)

T4 total 67.4 (66-181)

Free T4 11.90 (12.0-22.0)

Free T3 4.07 (3.1-6.8)

Anti TPOs 9.6 (less than 34)

Anti TGs less than 10 (less than 115)

Thank you so much in anticipation of any help you might be able to offer.

It would be an idea to edit your post to include the area you are looking in and say if you are willing to travel. Also NHS or private or both. You could put something in the title.

If you'd like to make the changes, that will hopefully attract the right members to help you.

Once you've done that your post will need to be closed to replies on the open forum as we can't discuss individual doctors here. Anyone that can help will send you a private message.

Essential to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 too - always get actual results and ranges

What are her main symptoms?

It was Bruce's wife Ziggy17 who posted his results yesterday and he has joined today himself to ask about an endo .

If anyone can help Bruce with information about suitable endos, please respond by private message as he has requested.

As we can't discuss individual doctors on the open forum, I will close the post to replies so no information is inadventently posted here.
