Hi I'm Bridget.

I have hasimotos s thyroid.

I am currently taking np thyroid at 90mg or grain and a half each day.I am thinking about taking eltroxin as well as my t4 levels are low according to blood work and I'm not feeling good at the moment .I have been I'll 4 times since Christmas with flu system's. Can anyone offer advise so feed up.

Your FT4 will be low when taking NP thyroid. For most people, that doesn't matter. The important number is the FT3. Do you know what that was? It could be too low, as well.

I was actually told it was fine in this blood test and the one previously .I just know I am feeling not right that's why I was thinking of taking the eltroxin along with the np thyroid to see would I improve a bit.

Before doing anything, get your FT3 tested. That could also be low and be making you ill. The FT3 is the most important number, and most people need that up the top of the range.
