NDT making me feel hyper?

I have used NDT (Erfa Thyroid) for over 10 years. Suddenly this year I have had nasty hyper symptoms, but labs are normal. I have insomnia, heart papls, shaky hands etc. I tried to lower my dose but it made me have hypo AND hyper symptoms! Also my labs are too low if I lower my dose. So that is not a solution.

I think I am maybe getting too much T3 from my NDT? I have tried to be a couple of days without Erfa every now and then, and I always feel better, less hyper, on those days! I am thinking about changing to T4 only but I'm afraid it will make me hypo. Most patients I know tell me T4 only is not working for anyone so I'm scared to even try it

I am a Grave's patient and have hypo because of RAI treatment I had back in 2006. My antibodies are normal.

Did any of you switch from NDT to synthetic T4 only med? Why? How did it work out for you?

What do you call 'normal' labs? Do you have the exact numbers - results and ranges?

My TSH is 1.0 (range 0.2 - 2.5), FT4 is 14.1 (range 11-20), FT3 is 5.0 (range 3.5-6.5). I am from Scandinavia, our ranges are different than in UK.

The labs have been approximately same level for 10 years and I've been feeling OK. Last 7 months I've been feeling totally hyper and it is only getting worse! No changes in my lifestyle, diet, medication, supplements, nothing.

I wonder if anybody else experienced this?
