Has anyone here used Thorne AC and had an unpleasant experience with the adrenaline? How long did it take to wear off? 😬😬

Anyone???

As far as I know, adrenal cortex does not contain adrenaline. The cortex produces cortisol and aldosterone and some sex hormones. It's the medulla that produces adrenaline. But if you have high cortisol, you probably don't want an adrenal glandular at all.

Ok, I’m confused 😐!

I thought from reading (on here mostly!), that the Thorne ac was the whole gland and therefore had adrenaline in it. Is this a different product then?

I had v low cortisol when it was tested a few months back and it takes a long time to get up again, yes/no?

I was very jittery/hyper though, really unpleasant. Wore off after a couple of days when stopped taking the AC so was def that 🤔

I don't know as I've never taken Thorne, but you said "Adrenal cortex". If the product says whole adrenal on it, it contains both medulla and cortex. If it says adrenal cortex, it is just the cortex.

It took me about 3 years to get my cortisol up, and it stills falls if I'm not careful.
