She is feeling very unwell.

My mum's results are as follows;

Free T3 5.12 (3.1 -6.8)

Thyroglobulin antibody 616 (0 -115)

Thyroid peroxidase antibodies 91.3 (0 - 34)

So TSH of 1.22(0.27-4.2), FT3 of 5.12(3.1-6.8).... but no FT4 result? Can you provide that too? Is your Mum on any thyroid 'meds'? Bit difficult to comment on results without this information. However she has high autoimmune antibodies suggesting she has Hashimoto's....

free thyroxine is 18.2 (12 - 22) and TSH is 1.22 (0.27 - 4.2)

That's all

She needs vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 tested

Have these been tested at all? Is she supplementing anything already?

As you already diagnosed as Hashimoto's, do you find a strictly gluten free diet helps?

Likely your mum needs to try it, get her GP to run coeliac blood test first

Yes all these are normal

What's normal? Do you have actual results?

We need them optimal, not just somewhere in range

Vitamin D around 100nmol

B12 and folate towards top of range

Ferritin at least half way in range

Selenium supplements can help too

Daily Vitamin C also

B12 is 72 (25 - 165), ferratin is 103 (13 - 150), vit D is 65.6 (50 - 200)

This is an active test I assume via Medichecks?

B12 is far too low. Anything under 70 is considered suspicious

No folate test result?

Vitamin D needs supplementing to improve to around 100nmol

Vitamin D mouth spray is good as avoids poor gut function. Trial and error what each person needs to improve levels. Once improved will likely need ongoing maintenance dose

Retesting twice yearly via vitamindtest.org.uk £29 NHS postal kit

Look at importance of magnesium and vitamin K2 Mk7 as well when supplementing vitamin D

Masses of posts on here about that

Ferritin is fine.
