I have an underactive thyroid and I seemed to have developed an uncomfortable feeling but not really painful so much underneath the arch of my right foot.
Could this be thyroid related or planter fasciiitis?

I have had a similar thing in my right foot for a year now, doctor suggests plantar but I’ve done all of the physio exercises to no avail, I have in recent weeks noticed tingling in that foot and the discomfort stretching up the back of my leg almost like sciatica but I’m not convinced. I’m on 50mg levo for underactive too. I’m 55, walk 3 miles a day, more when possible.
There's a strong link between Plantar Fasciitis and underactive thyroid. If you are undermedicated you may well end up with Plantar Fasciitis which should go away once your medication is increased.
Hey
Thankyou eeng I'm hoping that it does go away as I increase my medication.
If your tsh is below 1....but t3 2.9 range 2.2-4.4......taking sythroid 100mcg.....do you think adding a little t3 can help with this problem? T-bands in my legs are sore and hips....but my feet I have had PF for like a year and a half....then it was much better now I have it back. I am seeing my Endo today and I have a feeling she will say no t3......or maybe a little more Synthroid?
