Hi i had a spate of them back in november time and i must have had around 4 in a month, i was hypo at that time and feeling very much under the weather, i usually blast mine with zovorax as it burns them off-then i tried the tablets lysine but it did work for a good month but sadly they were back and got 2 more in december-again felt exhausted and rundown.i am also hashi and graves and very iron deficient. I did read people with immune diseases are more likely to get them!! But since end of december i havent had one and also make sure your lups dont dry out as this causes them to flare up aswell.xx

I feel great otherwise, my iron & B run low once they were topped up and stayed ok I have just stuck with multivitamins, and now I sleep so deep so they must be doing some good & I take them at night too. I’ve just read about lysine... if my Carmex doesn’t help it this time then I’ll try it. Xx

Yes lysine works for some people but i did not find it worked well for me. But anything helps.🌟🌟

Vit D is antiviral.

I certainly need that checking again, as it’s been 12months 🙈 and can only have checked yearly now

L-lysine did the trick for my other half - the 1000mg dose rather than 500mg. Some of the advice recommends taking 1000mg 3 times a day but that sounds a bit OTT.

You may find avoiding chocolate (booo) and tomatoes helps.

Vitamin D is also supposed to help. 3000 - 5000iu a day.

Not what you're looking for?
