Can I rule out hypothyroidism with these results?

My TSH is in the graph photo there. Latest 1.36 (0.27 - 4.20). I was fasting and it was in the morning.

Free T4 has been increasing from 12 last year and latest is 15.1 (12.00 - 22.00)

Ferritin increased and is now 84 (13.00 - 150.00)

Vit D climbing slowly from deficient to 62 (50.00 - 200.00)

I have given up all wheat and most gluten even though my coeliac and hashi antibodies tests were all negative.

So thyroid looks like its improving through diet and nutrition or who knows why but my seemingly hypo symptoms of struggling to not be obese, being cold, exhausted, period problems, bowel pain, constipation, brain fog, cold &dry skin, psoriasis are getting worse if anything.

I have had four out of range results but can't get a GP appointment till week after next.

Saliva waking cortisol was low with comment from medichecks about addisons

4.350 (6.00 - 21.00)

Active B12 a little high 166 (25.10 - 165.00)

CA-125 (ovarian cancer/pelvic inflammation test) high 47 (0.00 - 35.00)

ALT (liver function test) bit high 40 (10.00 - 35.00)

Any advice appreciated. (I've posted on the liver/ovarian cancer groups too but I felt like my symptoms are hypothyroid but perhaps I can rule this out now)

Not until you've had your antibodies tested, you can't! TPO and Tg antibodies. You could have Hashi's.

Well, admittedly, that doesn't look like Hashi's. :)

Your vitamin D needs to be nearer 100nmol

How much are you supplementing?

I note you say Hashimoto's antibodies are negative. Have you had both TPO and TG antibodies tested

Not everyone with Hashimoto's has raised antibodies. Some people never get high result.

The fact you have psoriasis, another autoimmune disease suggests it is Hashimoto's

Ask GP for a scan of your thyroid. If it's Hashimoto's it will appear granular

Do you supplement a good vitamin B complex ? This will improve folate and other B vitamins

If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 3-5 days before any blood tests, as biotin can falsely affect test results

Thanks for reply. I never knew about the B vits affecting results!

I doubt very, very much that GP will agree to a scan of thyroid as she says my TSH is brilliant and thinks I am mostly depressed.

I'm working on my vit D. Supplement 50mcg daily but some days just 20mcg. (weirdly find high dose vit D makes me constipated). I also eat wild fresh salmon as apparently thats 4x higher in vit D than farmed salmon.

Giving up 'most gluten' won't work. You have to completely eliminate it from your diet.
