Hi
I was sent to see NHS endo in Oxford....She told me that I seemed very well informed on Hashimoto's and use of T3 (thank you all administrators on here)! She did say that she does not recommend T3 only, but would give it if neccessary...I had given up getting correct treatment ages ago, so am self treating, so I get the impression I would have to go back to the beginning to get her help (tempting but not tempting enough!)...
The Endo has sent me for a short synacthen test, due to blood test results. I have an appointment on 14th May. I have also seen a consultant privately regarding my hip problems (arthritis, labral tears and bone spurs/CAM impingements) and have been recommended to try steroid injections into hips to see if that will give me enough relief to delay hip replacement surgery.
My question is: should I have the injections asap, to give me a few weeks between the injections and the test? Or should I wait until after the short synacthen test?
Thanks in advance
