Hi clever folk My last T3 test in September was 5.43 (3.10-6.80) and I felt really well. Just got results back from test on Monday and the results are 4.7 (3.50-6.50)but I'm feeling a bit more tired than usual, also achy. I cant work out how much my level has dropped by with the ranges being different.
My other results (vit D, folate etc..) were all good so definitely need to increase NDT, just not sure by how much!
thanks in advance

Ah thanks for that!! Seriously my 11 year old is better at Maths than me, I blame my boring teacher...
I'm a bit gutted as I've been so well on 4 grains for ages now I thought I'd cracked it, maybe people's concerns over Nature-throid are right after all and the potency isn't quite what it was. I don't feel really bad, just a bit tired and last time I went up to 4 1/2 grains I was over replaced with palpitations and anxiety so going to have to increase slowly for sure.
I do have Hashimotos but after going gluten free my antibodies are almost within range now. Yes vitamin D, b12 and folate are all optimal. I was hoping it would be a vitamin problem causing the tiredness as that would've been easier and cheaper to address 🙁
Most times its our body that lets us know that we need a bit more thyroid hormones. It's all about clinical symptoms and relief of. I have read it's 1/4 tablet every two weeks. This link may be helpful:-
