Hi there, is it typical or indicative of something else when TSH levels are LOW and Thyroid (T4) levels are normal? T4 = 19.1 | TSH = 0.01

Any helps would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Are you diagnosed with a thyroid condition and taking any thyroid meds? Were any other tests done? FT3, thyroid antibodies?

Thanks Lushmash

In that case, a TSH of 0.01 is very low and will cause some doctors to panic and scream "overmedicated". However, that depends on other factors.

Is your FT4 within range? What is your range, they vary from lab to lab. Mine is 7-17, we see 9-19 and 12-22. So it depends if your FT4 is within range or over range.

You said in your original post that free T4 was 19.1. Really you need to know free T3 as well, but NHS rarely tests it.
