Hi, I’m seeing Dr F at Ipswich, he is ok as a human being but just runs the normal NHS protocol, have spoke to him about t3 but he told me he wasn’t allowed and if he was it would give me a heart problem. Haven’t spoke to him about hashimoto yet but not sure he will even have heard of it.lol

You might as well wait - not much point in attending a fast appointment with someone who spouts that claptrap about T3, and isn’t going to help you - it’s just a waste of time. Just say you will wait and you are happy to take a cancellation if it occurs. There is always self medication to consider.

I tried the cancellation route for the chap I wanted to see, but they were incredibly unhelpful, planning to ring and speak with the secretary next week and see if i can make any progress that way!

Yes just keep at them like water on a stone - until they give in and put you on his list. They ought to be investigating why the other one is so unpopular and addressing that.

Well done for sticking g to your guns. Even though it is quite a wait you ought to get the treatment you need which should see you out! So looking at it like that it is worth hanging on. I hope the consultation goes well and if you are lucky you see him sooner due to a cancellation. Let us know how you get on. 💐👍🏽☘️🍀☘️👍🏽💐

Ok yes I’ve seen his pic on the wall. I also saw a guy at Nuffield who also works at Ipswich, he wasn’t any help either. So looks like I’ve picked the wrong one twice lol. I would be interested to hear how you get on when you get there.
