My son started to get some strange spots down his left eye. It looks like blue bruise with brown spots , the thing is that eyes colour is not same as the other since he was born , but then he didn't have that spots as u see on the pic
I have been at doctor and sometimes she said I exaggerate and that I shouldn't search a lot on Google! And sometimes she said is hyper pigmentation . Okay how she just came to that conclusion, without any ultrasound or none blood test at least. I can't understand sometimes some doctors
One more thing , let's say it's hyper pigmentation, why does the eye got tears many times , and I remarked that he can't open that eyes when it's sunny ( as is rarely sunny here lol )
I'm very sorry about my son , and I can't afford the private clinics medical checks , it's very expensive for just a consultation... Does anyone seen any similar case? Actually I'm thinking the worst :((((
Thank you for reading my post .

Would it be worth seeing an optician they ought to know about all problems pertaining to eyes. If you are in London there used to be a drop in clinic at Moorfields Eye hospital worth checking him in i’d Say
I hope an optician can get to the bottom of it. Moorfields here is very good perhaps you have similar in Norway. I got shingles of the optic nerve strange watery spots terrible headaches and neck ache for a week before the vesicles came out and the pain was so bad I cried in the doctors consultation. I looked like I had been beaten up 😱. Left it could have led to blindness. You are right to be alert about any eye problems these things are bits of our brain on stalks, looking to the outside world. Any problems with them is cause for concern, unless you are plain stupid.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience, I hope that you are feeling better now ?
My son told me he has no pain at all but the look is not fine , people asked me If I beat my son , some feel suspicious about it it's terrible situation..and the doctor is !!! But I will try with going to the capital maybe there I can get something . Get well soon
It was some years back now I made a full recovery but was later diagnosed with hypo.i see a lot of people here who have had shingles as if it might be significant. I hope you get an answer to your son’s eye problem ☘️🍀☘️ Sorry to hear people think you are hitting him and causing it that must be so awful for you
If his eye is watering a lot an optician could probably tell you why and you don’t need to pay for an NHS eye test for a child. So I would start there. It could be an irritation caused by his eye watering and him rubbing or wiping his skin.
Or it could be that it’s more of a skin problem - like a touch of eczema that just happens to be beside his eye.
See what your optician says then I would tell your doctor (nicely 😉) that exaggerating or not, you are very concerned and insist that you would like him to be referred to a dermatologist.
Is there a different doctor you could see who might be more sympathetic? I wouldn’t think the worst though because it’s probably something quite simple.
It's some system here that I must choose a doctor if I want to change and the other are actually fool booked list. But yes it sounds like it can be some skin issue, Thank u for the answer :))
If you meant his eyes are two different colours this is called heterochromia. The brown spots look like hyperpigmentation. Has he knocked the side of his face as it looks like a slight bruise.
No he does not knocked, that's also present from he was born . We have been to doctor several times ,but no answers still . Anyway I found a private clinic ,I will text back about what the specialist will say
I have quite pronounced purple marks under my eyes, and have done since childhood. They look like this: goo.gl/images/gstLVk is this what you're worried about with your son? They've been fine for me, I have never had any medical cause or symptoms from them.
Brown marks I'm not sure about, but as others say, an optician could give you a second opinion.
