Urgently required T3

Can ANYONE please tell me where I can get T3 to add to my Levo.

GP’s are having none of it due to the cost. But I understand You can buy overseas.

Any suggestions welcome😢

Before you consider adding T3 it's essential to get FULL Thyroid and vitamin tests

For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4, TT4, FT3 plus TPO and TG thyroid antibodies. Plus vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12.

Private tests are available. Thousands on here forced to do so as NHS often refuses to test FT3 or antibodies

Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have money off offers.

All thyroid tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting and don't take Levo in the 24 hours prior to test, delay and take straight after. This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, GP will be unaware)

If antibodies are high this is Hashimoto's, (also known by medics here in UK more commonly as autoimmune thyroid disease).

If you have Hashimoto's then food intolerances are common and low vitamins, so it's very important to know

Could we see your latest results on Levo please plus the ranges. Not all problems can be seen when on any form of T3 sobitsximportant to look at convesion now and also advise you as to whether T3 will help. Many found Levo not working for them but often it's for onthercreasons like not converting or even not in enough medication.
