Has anyone any experience of this please?

I’m gathering as much info as possible before my next endo appointment and this has been mentioned to me as I have High calcium.

Can anyone offer experience on this or how it is diagnosed/ treated??

Thanks

I think it has been suggested before that you take VitK2-MK7 with the VitD .... this ensures Calcium is directed into bones and teeth and away from arteries and soft tissue !

Your VitD is not over range. Calcium is not over range.

Does this make it unlikely then? Someone on another forum suggested I look into it.. made me freak!

As mentioned by SlowDragon and myself your calcium is not out of range ....

Your calcium is not high

2.36 is less than 2.6

Calcium tends to increase when supplementing vitamin D, hence the advice to supplement magnesium and vitamin K2 Mk7 as well

I had hyperparathyroidism and also ran the hyperparathyroid forum, looking at your calcium and vitd it doesn't show a problem, you need a parathyroid test to be sure but it's highly likely neither GP or Endo will agree to test parathyroid because there is no indication of a problem.

Ok thank you- I only asked as someone mentioned it to me as something I should look into, so I did. Thanks 👍🏼 Good to know there’s no indication of a prob there.

I agree no apparent problem with calcium. It's nicely within the lab range. Calcium is the most abundant mineral in our bodies and we need enough to keep our skeleton healthy. If at menopausal age, we need more calcium in our diet so check out the best amount to consume for your age and ensure enough calcium rich foods.

Dee8686, take your Vit D and K2 apart. They fight for uptake. It’s good idea to take Vit D with breakfast and K2 later in the day with food containing fat.

Lynn-2 ,

It's very interesting what your saying . However vitamin D is always paired together with vitamin K .
