Upset tummy should l stop meds.

Hi l wonder if anyone has any advice about my meds. I don't have access to a Dr as I'm abroad for a while. I'm on a camping site in my caravan. There is a tummy bug going around the site. I have had lt for 6 days other people seem to of had it for 2or3 days at the most. I'm wondering if my levothyrine and liothyronine are making it worse as I've heard they can give you a upset tummy. I guess what I'm trying to say is should l and would it be OK to stop taking them until my tummy is better.

You should continue taking your thyroid meds. You've said a bug is going around the site so it's not caused by Levothyroxine and Liothyronine.

Hi Teen, Clutter is right, keep those thyroid meds going, you need them to fight the bug. Go really gently on food if you're managing to eat anything, eg chicken noodle soup with no harsh spice flavouring whilst tum recovers.
