Upset tummy/headache

Have been left with a really upset tummy and headache caused, I think, by a nasty virus I had.

Have been trying silicolgel for the last 3 days as desperate to feel better before I go on holiday on the 17th. I stopped my Apple cider vinegar while taking this. Do they work against each other or can I take together?

My recent bloods showed I was undermedicated and a week ago I increased by dose by 25mg of my own accord due to not being able to speak to a doctor. In the end I wrote a letter to the surgery and have a telephone appt on the 12th to discuss Levo increase from 50mg to 75mg.

Desperate to feel better before I go away, at least tummy wise as don't feel like eating anything.

Once again thanks for your help.

sounds awful poor thing. I definitely felt worse on 50mcg than 75mcg. I hope you get what you need. Can you put your finger on what’s causing the upset? Triggers for me were, dairy, probiotics, coconut yoghurts with modified starch in, too much magnesium (skin spray), too much selenium (now alternating days). Anything there? Hope you get a restful break away 🦋💚🦋

It seems to be pretty consistent rather than triggers and have fatigue and weakness too. Thanks for your suggestions, will keep an eye on those things! X

Hi Lolalottie. Just a thought but was your virus Covid do you know as that is causing bad headaches and nausea etc in its current strain?

It felt like Covid but home tests said not. Bloods show I am no longer fighting off a virus but still feel awful! X

Have you tried a probiotic? I like Wild Nutrition's Multi Biotic, it sorted my stomach out after I had IV antibiotics.

Yes, have been taking some drinks and occasionally some Kefir. Where did you buy yours? X

Directly from Wild Nutrition. It is expensive, but it worked miracles for me, and also my Mum post knee surgery when she couldn't leave the house due to her stomach after all the meds. But just as a caveat it can depend on what type you are lacking so it isn't right for everyone.
