So I'm not sure if you have read previous posts of mine but cut a long story short I saw a private endocrinologist that prescribed 10mcg T3 for 2 weeks and I got it on NHS and it worked for me so I went back for a review appointment and he wants me to start Cynomel 25mg the private prescription would cost £120 a month but pleaded with my GP and so thankful that they are giving it to me on the NHS, so I'm asking you lovely people your experience on taking it, I'm taking 12.5mg dailey and I'm hoping im not going to put anymore weight on as I've put 1 and half stone on in 6 months 😕
Thanks for reading

Are you also taking levothyroxine along with the T3? 12.5 mcg of T3 is around 50mcg of T4, so you may have to add 1/4 tablet every two weeks until you are symptom-free but would the NHS provide an optimum dose (ie to work up gradually?)
If you take T4 (levo) and add some T3 you might find that to be beneficial as one of our Researchers/scientist have found that many get better with a combination of both.
I take T3 only and am well on it. My dose is 50mcg but everyone is different. I hope you do feel much better with T3 or T4/T3..
Are you in France? I have got some Cynomel as GP can no longer give me the UK Mercury Pharma and it was purchased over the counter in France for £1 a box of 30 so £120 per month seems very expensive unless you are sending for it from UK are you?
