Are you diagnosed? If so what are you taking? Are you taking any supplements?

TSH too high, free Ts too low, if not diagnosed they won't get you a diagnosis but show your thyroid is struggling. If diagnosed you are undermedicated.

TG antibodies raised, can indicate Hashimoto's.

Ferritin to low, needs to be at least 70.

No idea what a below range rT3 means but I have read it's best low.

Hello seasidesusie,

Had my thyroid removed 6 years ago I was fine for 4 years then felt really ill,I was on a 100mcg of thyroxine originally, my endo would, nt take any bloods and said that what I should be taking.Found a private endo in August he reduced my thyroxine down to 50mcg and 30 t3.I felt really well for a while then I started to feel unwell again.I,know im hypothyroid and have hashi,s.I, ve since been back to my endo who has now put my t3 up to 45mg plus the 50mcg thyroxine which I, ve just started taking.Im taking vit b, iron and b1supplements, I was taking Selenium,.Its so frustrating when you start to feel well then have a decline, feeling so tired and very irritable not wanting to do much at all.

Usually when we've been well on a dose then symptoms begin to return, that is when we need a new blood test as we may need a small increase.

All tests have to be at the very earliest, fasting, and allow a 24 hour gap between your last dose and the test and take afterwards. This helps keep the TSH at its highest and precents doctor adjusting dose.

Hello Shaws, thank you for reply,I had my last test taken at 8.30am, then took my medication afterwards,.Its just that I, ve been up and down for 2 years now, the first year was a waste of time going to see my doctor as he would only test for my tsh level, so I had no option but to go private.I, ve learnt quite a lot but it still seems very confusing to me, hopefully I will get there and see how I am with the extra bit of t3.

I do hope the addition of T3 will help.

I had been so unwell for months and even worse on levo but as soon as some T3 was added I felt a change for the better. So hope you do as well. Also our Researchers have proven than T4/T3 suits many people more than T4 only.
